An HHKB (Topre) keyboard where one key stopped working because of a fault on the board. Other repair shops either told me it couldn't be fixed and I should buy a new one, or that a technician would look at it “sometime”, with no warranty and no date.

Here the man understood the problem straight away. I brought it in on Friday evening and it was done on Monday afternoon, for 1,200 CZK and with a receipt.

It's a small shop without a fancy interior, but with someone who can really solder and actually repairs things instead of telling you to buy new ones. If you were told elsewhere that something “can't be repaired”, try here. Recommended.

Where is ServisAH located?

You will find us at Rumunská 14/27, 120 00 Praha 2-Vinohrady, on the corner of Rumunská and Londýnská streets in Prague 2 – Vinohrady. Opening hours: Mon–Fri 11:00–17:00. Closed on Czech public holidays.

What do you repair?

Coffee machines (De'Longhi, Krups, Philips, Saeco, Jura, Nespresso and others), robot vacuums (iRobot Roomba, Roborock, Xiaomi, RobZone, LG HomeBot), mobile phones and tablets, Amazon Kindle e-readers, PS4, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Switch consoles, and Bose speakers. Other electronics on request.

How much does diagnostics cost?

Diagnostics start at CZK 500, and the full amount is deducted from the price if you go ahead with the repair.

Do you offer pick-up?

Yes. Express pick-up and return anywhere in Prague costs a flat CZK 700. From elsewhere in the Czech Republic you can send your device via Zásilkovna (Packeta).

What warranty do you give?

6 months on the work and 24 months on spare parts (the manufacturer may set a shorter period for some parts, e.g. batteries).

How long does a repair take?

It depends on the fault and on the availability of spare parts. We will give you an estimate after diagnostics.

How can I pay?

In cash or by card when you collect the repaired device.
